We are marine retailers based in Bournemouth with over 50 years combined experience of keeping marine fish and aquariums. One of our partners is Duncan Matthews, who has a BSc in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management. He has held the position as Curator at the UK's Ocenarium and the position as Curator and Displays Manager at the UK's premier Aquarium, Blue Planet. Duncan has commissioned, maintained and trained staff at some of the largest public aquariums in Europe so when you come to us we can provide the best possible advice and after care.

Being strong believers in renewable resources and sustainability of the oceans we try as much as possible to supply farmed and captive raised fish, corals and other marine animals. Our wild caught stock only comes from reputable companies who endeavor to conserve the coral reefs and other marine ecosystems.

We specialise in systemised aquaria and can design, install and maintain your marine system for you. When you subscribe to one of our maintenance packages you get nothing but the best care for your system. It is possible to have your system fully computerised where we remotely monitor your readings daily and if a problem arises we deal with it directly.

In our shop area we hold over 2500 gallons of seawater in a fully mixed fish and invert system. No copper is ever used in our shop system since we quarantine all our fish before they are put up for sale. We also have three separate quarantine systems with over 500 gallons of water in our two separate fish quarantines and over 300 gallons in the invertebrate quarantine.

Our fish are normally kept in qarantine between 7 and 10 days until they have stabilised and are feeding on either frozen or dry food. We quarantine all our fish whether they are direct import, from TMC or from any other source.
